The Draxer cycle tracker: a one-page grid with the twelve months down the side and the days 1 to 31 across the top

How to use it

1

Shade your period days

Each day you bleed, shade that box. Add a letter for how you feel, using the key on the sheet.

2

Count your cycle

Count from the first day of one period to the first day of the next. That number is your cycle length.

3

Bring it with you

Take the sheet along when you see your pharmacist or doctor. It answers most of their first questions.

What on time looks like

21–35days from the first day of one period to the first day of the next.
2–7days of bleeding each time.
±7days of change from month to month is normal.

Talk to a pharmacist or doctor if you notice

  • Cycles shorter than 21 or longer than 35 days
  • A period that lasts more than 7 days
  • Missed periods when you are not pregnant
  • Bleeding between periods or after sex
  • Very heavy bleeding (a pad every 1 to 2 hours)
  • Pain that stops your daily activities
